Spring Cleaning
It’s that time of the year again! Oh yeah! When I decided to unload my suitcases after 8 years of moving around the globe I didn’t quite picture what I’d be accumulating! Out of sentimental reasons… who’d say that sentiments is technically equivalent to clutter! Simple mathematics! I’ll spare you the somewhat haunting “before” pictures and will only publish the “after” ones. T-shirts, dresses and shoes galore.. sorting out between what’s just “out” and what is now “vintage” or even “vintage-ee” is quite the dilemma! oh and by the way… I can’t seem locate my Narciso Rodriguez navy tuxedo jacket… I hear they made quite the come-back!

Berlin today: Warhol, McCarthy et les Autres
The Neue Nationalgalerie is definetly the place to go in case you are hungry for some excitement! McCarthy’s outrageous installation, The Box followed by east meets west post WWII chefs d’ouevres. Overwhellmed by the flow, I couldn’t help it but getting caught up in the emotional whirlpool of such a powerful show!

Cool sun-drenched Saturdays are to be spent at the market place! Handmade leather goods, honey, marmalade and flowers await . Slipped in my Jimmy Choo sneakers and roamed the fruit-meet-art market. Got tired from the long walk? Fantastic chocolateries and tea houses where you will indulge in out-of-this-world cakes are just around the corner! In a blink of an eye, refined sophistication! Makes me wonder, Berlin, boho or hobo?
Tomorrow, flea market! Fidgeting from anticipation of vintage goodies!
